Clear terms for using Ghar Ka Sona

By creating an account or using signed-in features, you agree to these Terms. The registration flow asks users to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

The Privacy Policy and Security page explain related data-handling and security practices. Additional feature notices may apply.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Ghar Ka Sona on behalf of a family, organisation or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so. Accounts should be created by adults unless a final policy expressly allows another model.

You must provide accurate registration information, control the registered email address and keep account information up to date. One person should not impersonate another person or create an account using someone else's identity without authority.

• Keep your password and registered email secure.
• Do not share passwords, confirmation links or one-time codes.
• Use invitations for family collaboration instead of shared passwords.
• Report unauthorised access promptly.
• Log out on shared devices.

Users must upload and enter personal information only when they have authority, consent or another lawful reason to do so. This is especially important for family members, beneficiaries, dependants, gift recipients, travel records, bills and photos that may contain another person's information.

The Privacy Policy explains how Ghar Ka Sona handles privacy requests, including requests that may arise under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Users should not use the service to collect unnecessary sensitive information or to avoid privacy, inheritance, tax, insurance or consumer protection obligations.

Workspaces organise records for a family or group. A user may belong to multiple workspaces where supported. Joining a workspace does not transfer jewellery ownership or create legal rights in jewellery.

Plan entitlement follows the relevant workspace owner in the current implementation. Workspace owners should review access regularly.

Workspace owners control broad settings. Administrators may manage selected functions. Members receive access according to their role. Membership may be changed or removed by authorised workspace users.

Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for inviting the correct people. Do not send invitations to people who should not see family jewellery information.

Users are responsible for names, relationships, ownership, beneficiary details, weights, purity, values, dates, bill numbers, possession, storage locations, instalment records, gift details and comments entered into Ghar Ka Sona.

Ghar Ka Sona does not independently verify these entries. Keep original bills, photos and independent records outside the service.

Records do not establish legal title, replace wills, replace nominee forms, override inheritance law, prove purchase, prove possession or establish insurance value. Use qualified advisers and official documents for legal, inheritance, tax or insurance decisions.

Users retain rights they have in uploaded bills and photos, but must have permission to upload, store and share the content. Users are responsible for copies they download or share.

AI extraction is an assistance feature. Output is a draft and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. Users must review and correct AI output before relying on it. Use of a scan may count according to plan rules. Manual entry remains available according to the plan.

AI output is not professional advice and should not be used to make legal, insurance, valuation or inheritance decisions without independent verification.

Gold prices may come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Analytics and reports may use user-entered data and are informational only. They are not market valuations, investment recommendations or instructions to buy or sell gold.

Digital gift records document an intended or recorded transfer. The application does not physically transfer jewellery, verify delivery, possession, consent or legal title. The sender must have authority and recipient information must be accurate. Acceptance in the app may not create a legally enforceable gift. Legal documentation may still be required.

Travel information is general and may be incomplete. Customs, declarations, airline, security and import rules change. Users must verify rules with official authorities. Ghar Ka Sona does not promise entry, customs clearance or insurance coverage. Users should avoid disclosing exact travel and storage information unnecessarily.

Gold Scheme Tracker helps record user-entered scheme information. Ghar Ka Sona is not the jeweller or scheme provider, does not collect instalments on behalf of jewellers and does not promise scheme returns, redemption, solvency or delivery. Verify balances and terms directly with the jeweller.

New accounts start on Sona Grow. No free trial or temporary Sona Plus access is provided.

Sona is ₹0. It includes one family workspace, up to four family members, one photo per jewellery item, 10 AI-assisted bill scans and 3 Studio credits, manual jewellery and purchase records, ownership and beneficiary records and the ability to receive digital jewellery gifts.

Sona Plus uses regional pricing: ₹149/month or ₹1,249/year in India, €1.49/month or €12.49/year in Europe, and $1.49/month or $12.49/year in the USA. Yearly access covers 12 months and renews yearly unless cancelled. It includes 30 AI-assisted bill scans and 10 Studio generations per subscription year, one workspace, up to six family members, three photos per item and premium features. Sona Plus checkout may be offered through Razorpay where payment features are configured. Extra Studio add-on packs use the same regional currency and are priced at 99 INR, 1 EUR, or 1 USD for 5 Studio credits.

• Allowances do not reset monthly.
• Duplicate retries should not intentionally consume multiple scans. Failed uploads may not consume a scan depending on the stage of failure and current implementation.

Paid checkout may be available through Razorpay where the payment provider is configured. Users will see the payable amount before confirmation. Activation occurs only after the payment is verified or otherwise confirmed in Ghar Ka Sona. Payment-provider terms, payment-method rules and availability may apply.

Ghar Ka Sona should not receive complete card credentials when a hosted checkout is used. Payment status, order identifiers, receipt numbers, promo codes, refunds and provider references may be stored for billing, reconciliation, support, tax and fraud-prevention purposes.

If payment fails, is cancelled or cannot be verified, Sona Plus or Studio credits may not activate. If a verified payment does not appear correctly, contact support with the account email and provider payment reference.

Refunds, taxes and consumer cancellation rights depend on the purchased item, payment status, provider rules, applicable law and any offer-specific terms shown at checkout. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Unless Sona Plus has been validly activated, the effective plan becomes Sona. Existing records are not deleted merely because a plan changes. Records or workspaces exceeding Sona limits may become read-only, and premium actions may be blocked.

Existing records remain safe when a plan changes. Additional photos may remain viewable, manual entry remains available and receiving gifts remains available where Sona Grow allows it. Future plan changes may be required to edit premium records.

Visitors see regional Sona Plus pricing: ₹149/month or ₹1,249/year in India, €1.49/month or €12.49/year in Europe, and $1.49/month or $12.49/year in the USA. Yearly access covers 12 months and renews yearly unless cancelled. Pricing may change prospectively. Users will be shown the applicable amount before payment. Taxes may be included or added depending on tax configuration, location, invoice details and applicable law.

Coupons are valid only when visibly offered through the official service and accepted by the checkout flow. Promotions may have eligibility, expiry, redemption, item, plan and country restrictions. Codes have no cash value, may not be combined unless stated and may be cancelled for misuse. Entering a code does not activate Sona Plus or Studio credits without confirmed payment, unless the code explicitly creates a zero-payable verified order.

Current Sona Plus purchases are described as yearly access for the applicable Family Gold Record. Unless a checkout screen or offer clearly states otherwise, these Terms do not promise automatic renewal. Cancellation, renewal, refund and expiry rules may be updated before recurring subscriptions are offered.

Users retain rights they have in their records and uploads. Ghar Ka Sona does not claim ownership of user jewellery data, bills or photos. Users must have permission to upload content and must not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful material.

Users grant Ghar Ka Sona a limited licence to host, process, display, copy and transmit content only as needed to operate, protect and support the service. This includes processing by service providers used to run the application.

• Unlawful activity or false ownership claims.
• Fraudulent inheritance, gift or beneficiary records.
• Impersonation or account sharing instead of invitations.
• Unauthorised uploads or information that violates another person's rights.
• Accessing another user's account, workspace, documents or records.
• Bypassing plan limits, evading AI quotas or abusing invitations.
• Uploading harmful files, malware or unrelated sensitive documents.
• Scraping, denial-of-service activity or security testing without permission.
• Sharing temporary document links with people who should not have access.
• Commercial resale or use to facilitate theft, fraud or concealment of stolen jewellery.

Ghar Ka Sona branding, software, design and original content are protected. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. User records remain user content. Third-party trademarks remain with their owners.

Feedback may be used to improve the product without obligation, unless prohibited by law.

The service relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, AI, email and market data. Provider terms and availability may affect the service.

Features may change, maintenance may occur and providers may experience outages. Beta or new features may be changed or removed. The service may contain errors and no uptime commitment is provided. Ghar Ka Sona should not be the only record of valuable jewellery.

Access may be restricted for security risk, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, attacks, unauthorised access, repeated abuse, non-payment in future, violation of Terms, risk to users or systems or legal requirements. Where reasonable, Ghar Ka Sona may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue, but urgent security actions may happen without advance notice.

Users may stop using the service. Account deletion is available from profile settings where configured, subject to confirmation and shared-workspace ownership limits. Users can also contact legal@gharkasona.com for privacy or account requests. Termination does not mean immediate removal from provider backups. Workspace owners should consider export options before closure.

Some records may be archived or soft-deleted rather than immediately erased. Document deletion attempts to remove the associated stored file. Certain information may remain for security, integrity, support, fraud-prevention or legal reasons.

Ghar Ka Sona is a software record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal, tax, investment, insurance, appraisal, valuation, custody, storage or physical protection services. It does not physically hold jewellery, verify that jewellery exists, determine ownership, create a will, replace insurance or promise recovery of lost or stolen jewellery.

Records, AI, gold prices, analytics, beneficiaries, gifts, travel information, customs information, insurance-related exports and third-party services may be incomplete or wrong. Users should obtain independent verification before making important decisions.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ghar Ka Sona is not responsible for physical loss of jewellery or decisions based solely on inaccurate user-entered or AI-assisted data.

Users may be responsible for claims arising from unlawful content, lack of permission to upload information or deliberate misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Final governing-law and dispute provisions will be confirmed before paid subscriptions are introduced.

These Terms may change as the service changes. We will update the date on this page when meaningful changes are made. These Terms describe the current service. Additional rights or obligations may apply under applicable law.
